David Sykes, Head Golf Professional
David is the Head Professional at Heritage Golf Club. A Class A professional he has been a member of the PGA for 19 years. David has managed the Golf Schools at Heritage since its inception in 2002. He has been teaching golf to all levels of players since 1987. Golf runs in his family, David’s father is the men’s golf coach at NC State. As a father of three, he especially enjoys teaching children.

Doug Hodges, Assistant Golf Professional
Doug, PGA Professional and Founder of ThinkWorkPlay, has extensive experience as a golf professional, training at the La Costa Resort And Spa in Carlsbad, California before joining the Heritage Golf Club in 2002. For the past 15 years Doug has researched and studied the mental aspects of the game and how th achieve optimal performance. By combining mental game with coaching and cutting-edge biofeedback training, Doug offers his students the opportunity to play o their potential.
HERITAGE JUNIOR GOLF SCHOOLS
Taught by our PGA staff, Heritage Junior Golf Schools are designed to teach children, ages 8-14, the game of golf. Students learn fundamentals and to help improve techniques and skills. They also learn proper golf etiquette and care for the golf course. The most important thing is - They will have fun while learning a sport that can be played with the whole family, for a lifetime!
